Where is the Keck Graduate Institute?

Where is Claremont? The Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences is the newest of the seven Claremont Colleges, located in Claremont, California. Located at the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, Claremont is about 30 miles (50 km) east of downtown Los Angeles, and about the same distance north of Irvine and Newport Beach in Orange County. For those driving to KGI, the college is served by the I-10 and I-210 freeways, as well as via historic US Route 66 (Foothill Blvd.).

Visiting KGI

The Keck Graduate Institute is located just south of the “Claremont Village” area, about one kilometer southwest of the center of the Claremont campus.

KGI is a quick 10 minute walk to the Claremont train station on the Metrolink San Bernardino line; from there it is a 54 minute trip to Los Angeles Union Station. Schedules for reaching KGI via mass transit are available from Google Maps.

For those flying to Southern California, KGI is an easy 20-minute drive from Ontario Airport.
